It brings the viewer to attentiveness so they can bring more of themselves to a work of art to complete the story or the emotion. Kandel also stated, “Our neural circuitry is hardwired to prefer images we can identify, which makes abstract forms more difficult to process. At the same time, abstract forms leave the door open to interpretation, stimulating the higher-level areas of the brain responsible for creativity and imagination.”

The definition of miracle I am drawn to most is “a change in perception.” Since abstract art invites you, the viewer, to be the seer and to perceive, you indeed must be a miracle.
How to Interpret a Soul Painting
Soul paintings are the emotional and energetic imprint translated onto the painting’s surface. Set your soul painting in front of you. Sit with it for five minutes or so. What feelings arise when you look at it? Does it bring up specific memories? What do you see within the painting? What comes to mind in, around, and between the colors and marks on the surface? Study the colors and shapes. Is there a specific image coming forth? Feel into it. Abstract soul paintings often stir up a host of emotional responses: awe and wonder, emotional connection, curiosity, reflection, and contemplation.
Study the main colors of your soul, as well as the mark-making, complementary colors, express strokes, and solid areas interrupted by subtle changes in hues. Studying the perceived speed and direction of the marks tells you a lot about the energy of that soul. What energy do you get from the painting? Is it fast or slow? Closed or open? Each soul has a different emotional and energetic imprint that is unique to them. Souls that have already transitioned over have a higher level of openness and freedom with their expression. Now unencumbered, they have a newfound willingness to be boldly expressive without the fear and judgment that weighed down their earthly body. This boundless soul expression is unparalleled.
