Animals and Humans: A Spiritual Connection

Animals and humans are intrinsically connected and here to evolve together. Many people say, “I found them, they found me” when referring to their animal companions. In a way, this is true; your souls have been called together to work through similar emotional wounds in a loving and compassionate relationship. Whether human or animal, you will attract into your life the same wound patterns and opportunities to heal. It is a spiritual law. Animals are willing partners in your spiritual growth. They are drawn to you like magnets to mirror what you most need to receive or release at any given moment. Animals have their emotional wounds as well. They show up differently but are no doubt similar.

Once you clear one wound, your animal friend will hold up another mirror for you to look into, and so on. But what better loving relationship to recognize and work through past pain than the unconditional love of an animal companion. Animals tend to heal faster as they can let go of their emotional pain more easily because unlike like humans, animals are not driven by ego.

It is especially important to consider that unhealed spiritual wounds for both humans and animals can manifest as physical ways. That is usually when I get a call from a guardian who says, “My animal is nipping at people, cries and whines when I leave the house,” or “my dog has hip and leg issues.” Clients report that this is new behavior when actually it is not. For example, the behavior is a result of the animal not feeling safe to release their cloak of protection, perceived pain, and negative feelings created by the initial wounding experience. Emotions are held in the energy field until the animal is ready to rewrite these energy patterns. Covering up emotional wounds is a defense mechanism used by both humans and animals for survival or until we have the internal means to understand and process the emotion.

Animal communication addresses the whole animal—mind, body, and spirit—for lasting healing. “Energy is life, mind the builder, and the physical the result.” -Edgar Cayce. It is also the most loving way for humans to see themselves in relationship with their animal companions to break old patterns and limiting beliefs.

This is why I have created a set of animal communication sessions specifically designed to teach animal guardians how to communicate with their animals to evoke lasting change, heal with each other, and enhance a deeper, connection with their beloved animals and themselves.

No one knows your animals better than you. You are already communicating with your beloved animal companions in many ways. When you leave for work, you signal or send actual words or thoughts, letting them know you’ll be back. Your animals bark to alert you of someone walking down the street, and you reassure them, “It’s okay, thank you for letting me know, we are safe – we are not in danger.” Keep doing a great job of keeping me aware.

Animals think in pictures. They feel your emotions, but they also think in mental images. They know what you are thinking, and they definitely know our intentions. This is how they know when you are coming home before you pull in the driveway or when you are planning a vacation before you get your suitcase out. Once you understand the power of your thoughts and intentions, you will be able to consciously control the visualizations you send to your animal. You will have the power of an animal communicator, helping your animals through shifts in behavior and emotional changes, and improving their quality of life. You will understand yourself and your animal on a whole new level, transforming your life in the process.
